PRE-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

Hair plasma treatment does not require any special preparation. It is only recommended to stop taking anticoagulants and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, naproxen, about 7 days before injecting the scalp with platelet-rich plasma (Seek GP advice). On the day of the procedure, you should drink large amounts of water (about 1.5-2 liters) and avoid alcohol and cigarettes.

POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

Avoid touching the treated area within 24hrs following the treatment.
Avoid washing your hair for the first 48 hours after the PRP hair growth treatment. This gives the PRP time to penetrate the scalp and start working its magic.
Use gentle, sulphate-free shampoo when you do eventually wash your hair. Harsh chemicals can strip away the beneficial effects of the PRP /PRF hair growth treatment.
Be sure to use a good conditioner, as well. This will help keep your scalp and hair hydrated, which is important for optimal hair growth.
Avoid using any styling products (including heat-styling tools) for at least a week after the treatment.

Take some time to relax. Stress can seriously impede hair growth, so it’s important to find ways to relax and de-stress on a daily basis.
Eat a healthy diet that is rich in vitamins and minerals (like iron, zinc, vitamin B12, and biotin). Eating the right foods can help support healthy hair growth.
