BEFORE-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS
Before performing a chemical peeling, you should follow the recommendations below:
- for at least 30 days before the planned treatment, you should not sunbathe or expose your skin to the sun, use self-tanning products or use a sunbed
- 7 days before the procedure, do not wax
- 5 days before the procedure, do not use creams and lotions with chemical acids or retinoids
POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS
- After the treatment, wash face with cool water. Do not wax the skin or use acidic cosmetics in the treated area
- Moisturize and hydrate. Since peels can temporarily compromise your skin’s protective barrier, it’s important to reinforce that barrier with a medium-to-thick moisturiser
- Drink more water to help avoid dehydration, which could make your skin feel tight
- Avoid excessive exercise and sweating for 24–48 hours
- Do not wear makeup for 24-48hrs
- Do not sunbathe for 4-6 weeks
- Apply sunscreen with SPF30 or more
- Do not touch the treated areas
