Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning

1-1-1
Dermaplaning comes from Japan and is one of the most popular treatments in Asian beauty salons. Dermaplaning is a cosmetic treatment in which dead skin cells and peach fuzz are scraped off with a scalpel by a cosmetologist. Shaving your face with a peeling effect makes the skin look smoother and uniform
When the skin is cleansed of dead epidermal cells with a scalpel, it becomes very smooth, shiny and soft. Light reflects off it differently, so it looks healthier and younger. Along with dead skin, surface discolorations also disappear from the face.

DURING THE TREATMENT

The skin is cleansed and disinfected, and then left to dry for a few moments, because moist epidermis may impede the movement of the scalpel.
If the treatment is performed to rejuvenate the skin, a serum with antioxidants or firming ingredients can be applied to the skin immediately after it. By removing the stratum corneum, the penetration of these active substances increases.
Dermaplaning can also be thought of as preparing the skin for other treatments, such as LED light therapy or chemical peels. By removing the stratum corneum, the penetration of active ingredients that are used immediately after the treatment increases.
